Is the iPhone app out?+

How is this different from a vocabulary list?+
You collect words from your own life, with the sentence where you found them. Spaced repetition then turns that collection into a review routine, so saving a word is only the beginning.
Do I have to use the camera?+
No. The iPhone app also supports typing a word or capturing it by voice. Use the camera when the word is in front of you, and manual entry when it is on your mind.
How does the review schedule work?+
Intervala uses FSRS, a spaced repetition scheduler. After you reveal an answer, you rate how well you remembered it. That feedback helps set the next review for that word.
Can I review offline?+
The iPhone app stores your saved words locally for offline review. In the iPhone app, the English→Russian dictionary works offline. Generating new meanings and examples needs an internet connection.
Does it replace Duolingo?+
No. Intervala is a companion for the words you meet in daily life—not a replacement for Duolingo or any course.
Is the AI translation reliable?+
It's a suggestion you can check and edit on every word.
